Contained Living started with a mission to build beautiful, functional & affordable spaces. Our AHA project came to life when founder Kathy Ratchford was discussing the ways
that container homes could be utilized to build Amazing Homes Anywhere (for anyone) which would give us an opportunity to make an impact for people who are less fortunate.
Shipping containers are easy to pre-build, transport and minimize building times & costs. Kathy started to look for ways that Contained Living could put their skills to use to make a difference.
The possibilities are uncontained including dorm style living, low income housing alternatives, first nations support, and orphanages to name a few.
Working together, Contained Living & Dr. Olumide Oyefeso (Consultant Pediatrician from Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville ON) recently launched our Eghosa Orphanage Project.
Dr. Oyefeso is the founder of a non-profit organization called 4 Breath 4 Life. The organization does a number of humanitarian projects in Nigeria. The team discovered Eghosa who is caring for 32 children in a rented 3 bedroom apartment. We are excited about the prospect of creating a special home for these lovely people.
With your support our goal is to break ground in Spring 2019.
